How can I register for an event as a visitor?

Can I register my colleagues?

Yes you can either send them the online registration link or once you’ve completed your registration there are a number of options to invite or register colleagues.

Can I register onsite?

For 2021 we will not be accepting onsite registrations, please register via the website before arriving.

How much does it cost to attend GESS Dubai?

GESS Dubai is free of charge to visit.

If I’ve registered can I attend on more than one day?

Once you’ve registered you can visit GESS on any of the days the show is open and you can attend as many of our conference sessions as you like.

Where and When?

GESS Dubai is held at Dubai World Trade Centre, 14 - 16 November 2021 in Zabeel Halls 4, 5 & 6.

Do you give a certificate of attendance?

Yes all attendees who attend our conference sessions are eligible for a certificate of attendance. The certificate will be sent to you via email after the event, you do not need to do anything to receive it.

Who is exhibiting?

A full list of all our fantastic exhibitors and brands will be displayed on our website closer to the event. In 2019 we had over 550 international and local brands showcasing the very best in interactive technology, digital education supplies, virtual technology, ergonomic furniture, SEN, books, sports, science and laboratory equipment plus, many more products and solutions for your school or institution.

Who should visit?

GESS is a business to business trade exhibition and is designed for all levels of educational professionals, whether you are a head teacher, head of procurement, head of department, dean, professor, lecturer, teacher or just involved in education, there’s something for everyone. Please note no under 16s will be allowed access to the event.

Will there be any conferences?

Yes an integral part of the GESS show is our CPD accredited conference programme. The conference session are all free of charge to attend and feature hands on learning that you can put into place into the classroom immediately.

How do I get a visa for the UAE?

Please ask your hotel, travel agent, or Emirates Airline (if you are travelling with them) to arrange your visa. More information available on the Emirates website. We are unable to offer any assistance with this process.

Can I contact exhibitors before the exhibition?

Please take a look at the exhibitor list for the companies contact details, please note the exhibitors have the option to display and share their contact details, if they have chosen not to do so, we cannot share their details.

Where can I book accommodation?

During any exhibition hotels around or near a venue can get very busy so always book your hotels early. We always recommend staying as close to the venue as possible as the further you are away the more chance you have of being delayed. Our Official Travel Partner, Travelex Travels & Tours LLC, can help you in booking flights, hotels, tours, etc.. Will there be parking available?

Yes there is plenty of visitor parking close to the venue.

Can students attend GESS?

GESS is a business to business trade exhibition for educational professionals, so students are not eligible to attend. The only exception to this is if students are taking part in one of our conference sessions or invited to demo products on an exhibitors stand.

Venue Questions

Is there WIFI within the exhibition hall?

Unfortunately the venue WIFI is very limited, please do not rely on being able to access the free WIFI onsite.

Will there be security within the exhibition hall?

Yes the hall is manned by security and all visitors will be subject to security checks on-site.

Are there catering outlets at the venue?

Yes, there will be a variety of catering outlets at the exhibition offering a wide range of refreshments. Visitors are not allowed to bring their own food and drink into the halls and will have to use the venues in-house caterers.

Will there be disabled facilities at the venue?

The exhibition hall will have disabled access. There are also disabled toilets on site which are clearly signposted. An allocation of parking bays will be reserved for disabled drivers, please note that parking passes are still required for access to these bays.

Will there be a cloakroom at the venue?

The venue does not offer cloakroom facilities, you will be responsible for your belongings.
